Rod Stewart celebrated the 40th birthday of his daughter Kimberley along with his wife and three ex-wives.

Stewart, 74, and spouse Penny Lancaster, 48, were joined by Rachel Hunter, 49, Kelly Emberg, 60 and Alana Stewart, 74 – Kimberley’s mom – at the party last week.

Emberg shared a photo of the singer and the mothers of seven of his eight children on Instagram, wishing Kimberley a happy birthday and adding: “Can’t believe you are 40! You looked radiant last night! A mother’s reunion!”

Stewart’s first marriage, to Alana, took place in 1979 and lasted five years. They had two children, Kimberley and Sean, together. The singer was in a relationship with Emberg from 1983 until 1990, and they had daughter Ruby. He married Hunter in 1990 and they remained together for 16 years, and had daughter Renee and son Liam together. He married Lancaster in 2007 and they’ve had two sons, Alastair and Aiden. Earlier in his life he had his first child, daughter Sarah, with girlfriend Susannah Boffey in 1963.

“I’ve never been so content in all my life,” Stewart told Rolling Stone last year. “I mean, look at what I’ve got. I mean, apart from the financial side of things, lovely houses, I know that’s all materialistic stuff, but I have the most gorgeous wife, and I have eight wonderful children, and two little ones. It’s just fabulous.”

Asked what he’d learned about relationships, he said: “First of all, don’t have your arguments when you’ve got a glass of wine and you’re about to go to bed. Wait until the morning. I’m also a much better listener now than I’ve ever been before. … You should always talk about things, be able to listen and still share romantic things. I’m a terrible old romantic. My wife and I, when the kids go to bed, we have candlelit dinners every night. It’s so lovely.”
