Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne Deny Rumors of Marital Strife

When you’re a British celebrity, you’ve got to deal with the British tabloids — and for Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, that means periodically waving away rumors, like the ones suggesting the long-married rock power couple is teetering on the verge of divorce.

The Sun quotes an anonymous source as saying, “They are living at different addresses and not spending any time together. They row (fight) a lot. They aren’t acting like husband and wife. It is unusual to not even have dinner together when both of them are five minutes apart.”

According to a unnamed spokesperson for the Osbournes, it all boils down to scheduling. “They’ve both got huge work commitments. She is at the hotel for work and he is starting his Black Sabbath tour,” the flack explained. Of course they row, but they are still together. Sharon and Ozzy have spent long periods of time apart before when she was working in the U.K. The marriage is not on the rocks.”

The Osbournes’ son Jack was much more direct with his response to the Sun’s allegations, tweeting, “It’s all bulls—. Last time I check a lot of British newspapers weren’t amazing sources of accurate information. Moving on…”
