After purchasing a West Village duplex in New York City just a few years ago, Jon Bon Jovi has now sold it for $15 million, well below his original asking price.

Bon Jovi purchased the 4,031-square-foot spot at 150 Charles St. in 2015, joining other celebrities like Sports Illustrated model Irina Shayk and actor Ben Stiller in the building. He laid down $12.9 million on the four-bed, four-and-a-half-bath home, and listed it in June 2017 for $17.2 million after extensive renovations.

Despite the Hudson River and skyline views from floor-to-ceiling windows and 1,500-square-foot grassy terrace, he had no takers, and settled for $2.2 less than his asking price.

The rocker didn't leave the neighborhood, though. In September 2017, he upgraded to a slightly smaller $19 million Greenwich Lane condo. His new neighbors include fashion designer Michael Kors, shoe tycoon Tamara Mellon and Howard Schultz, Starbucks' executive chairman.

Back in 2015, Bon Jovi was also forced to cut his asking price on a Soho condo by $2.4 million, which sold after two years for a still staggering $37.5 million.

Bon Jovi is currently on an extended tour with his band behind their ironically named album This House Is Not for Sale. In April, they'll be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, even though he had insisted in the past that his group was being barred for personal reasons. Guitarist Richie Sambora, who exited a few years ago, will reportedly perform with them, following an induction in Cleveland by Howard Stern.
