Watch Best Coast Perform Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Storms’ on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’

Best Coast surprised fans by performing Fleetwood Mac's classic 'Storms' during an appearance on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' Tuesday night.

The song originated on Fleetwood Mac's 1979 album 'Tusk.' Best Coast had previously recorded a cover of the tune for a 7" single they released to independent record stores to promote their recent release 'The Only Place.' Watch their performance here.

The group must be dyed-in-the-wool Fleetwood Mac fans, since they also covered 'Rhiannon’ for the upcoming 'Just Tell Me That You Want Me,' an all-star Fleetwood Mac tribute album slated for release August 14 via Hear Music.

Other performers on that album include the New Pornographers, Lykke Li, MGMT, and Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top.

It's a good time to be a Fleetwood Mac fan; Stevie Nicks announced last week that the group will reunite for a new album and tour in 2013.
