Saturday Night Live kicked off their final show of the season last night by having Alec Baldwin's "President Trump" and his political friends sing Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" while preparing for summer vacation. You can see the full video below.

After playing the first verse straight, the cast starts changing the lyrics to parody Trump's various legal issues and controversial actions: "He's a billionaire, unless you take a look at his tax returns / He's gonna hide, hide, hide / Oh, there's no showing you."

"Don't Stop Me Now" was released in January 1979 as the second single from Queen's 1978 album Jazz. It was a Top 10 hit in England, and later appeared during key scenes in movies such as 2004's Shaun of the Dead and 2019's Shazam.

Donald Trump has been highly critical of Saturday Night Live's portrayal of him and his administration, tweeting that Baldwin's performance "stinks" and that it was "time to retire the boring and unfunny show" in October 2016. Earlier this year, he asked: "How do the Networks get away with these total Republican hit jobs without retribution? Likewise for many other shows? Very unfair and should be looked into. This is the real Collusion!"

Four minutes later, he followed up with an all-caps declaration that "the rigged and corrupt media is the enemy of the people," prompting Baldwin to openly wonder if the President's actions constituted "a threat to my safety and that of my family."
