Stevie Nicks to Appear with Lady Antebellum on CMT’s ‘Crossroads’
CMT's acclaimed 'CMT Crossroads' program, which features many of today's top country music stars performing with their influences, will get a decidedly classic rock feel soon. The network announced that Stevie Nicks will appear with Lady Antebellum in an upcoming episode.
Lady Antebellum, a trio comprised of two men and one women, are known for their harmonies, so it makes sense that they would be influenced by the Fleetwood Mac singer. To date, they have sold 11 million copies of their three albums and won seven Grammy Awards.
This spring, Fleetwood Mac will be embarking upon their first world tour since 2009. They have reportedly worked up three new songs, 'Sad Angela,' 'Miss Fantasy' and an unnamed track that was left off the 1973 'Buckingham Nicks' album that was responsible for bringing Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham into the group.
In other Fleetwood Mac news, their legendary 1977 album 'Rumours,' will receive the box set treatment on Jan. 29. A three-CD deluxe edition contains outtakes and a live album, while the expanded edition adds more outtakes, a vinyl copy of 'Rumours' and a documentary on its creation.
CMT has not yet announced when this episode of 'CMT Crossroads' will air.
