Shimmering songstress Stevie Nicks celebrated her 63rd birthday last Thursday with a show in Los Angeles at the Wiltern Theater, a special occasion in which she was joined by longtime bandmate Lindsey Buckingham for a performance of her latest single ‘Soldier’s Daughter.'

Also performing with Nicks was guitarist Waddy Wachtel and Dave Stewart, who produced Nicks’ latest album ‘In Your Dreams.’ Nicks told the crowd that the Wiltern held special significance for her personally, as it was the first place that she rehearsed with Buckingham after the pair joined Fleetwood Mac in 1975.

During the Wiltern show, Nicks performed a mix of tracks from the new album, combined with old favorites like ‘Edge of Seventeen,’ ‘Stand Back’ and Fleetwood Mac tracks including ‘Gold Dust Woman,’ ‘Rhiannon’ and ‘Dreams.’ Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood was in the crowd but didn’t perform.

The ‘In Your Dreams’ album recently debuted in the Billboard Top 10 at number six, selling 52,000 copies during the first week of release. The album contains the song ‘Everybody Loves You,’ which Nicks wrote about Buckingham. We recently shared 10 Things That You Might Not Know About Stevie Nicks, as our own little birthday present.
