Richie Sambora and Orianthi Release Two Songs for Valentine’s Day
Former Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora and his girlfriend Orianthi have released two romantic songs just in time for Valentine's Day: The original "Forever All the Way," as well as their take on the 1965 hit "I Got You Babe." Both are set for release on the debut album by RSO, which is expected in April.
"'I Got You Babe' is one of the best duets of all time and it’s a song that reminds us that true affection has no limitations," Sambora told People. "Ori and I loved paying homage to this timeless Sonny and Cher classic."
The cover, which you can listen to above, should come as no surprise to those who have been following Sambora. He's previously described his emerging partnership with Orianthi as "basically Sonny and Cher on steroids. We looked back on our career and saw the different styles of music that we did and, when you make a record, obviously, you have to own it. After 40 years in this business I know if we owned it or not."

Sambora and Orianthi say they've written nearly 70 songs in two years, including "Forever All the Way," which you can listen to above. Their first EP Rise was released last September.
“We’ve been doing our own duets and writing so much music together as RSO, and ‘Forever All The Way’ is a song we wrote about sincere commitment,” the couple said in a joint statement. “And just like Valentine’s Day, this song isn’t only about romance, it’s also about love for a child, a parent, a friend, or a family member.”
