Neil Young’s Bridge School 25th Anniversary Edition Concert Film Headed to Theaters

As previously announced, Neil Young's annual Bridge School Concerts are marking a quarter century this year with 'The Bridge School Concerts -- 25^th Anniversary Edition' CD and DVD releases, due out Oct. 24. To celebrate the collection, on that same day a special edition of the concert film featuring live footage from the DVD set will be screened at select theaters in more than two dozen cities nationwide.

David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Elton John, the Who, the Pretenders, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Pearl Jam, R.E.M., Metallica and Billy Idol are among the artists whose performances will be captured in the Bridge School film. The 'The Bridge School Concerts -- 25^th Anniversary Edition' CD and DVD releases come right on the heels of the year's Bridge School concerts, which are set to be held at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif., on Oct. 22 and 23. This year's lineup includes Neil Young (of course), Beck, Los Invisibles featuring Carlos Santana, Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters, Tony Bennett, Dave Matthews and others.
