Motley Crue’s Tommy Lee to Join deadmau5’s Electronic Music Tour

Tommy Lee doesn't believe in down time. The Motley Crue drummer will be performing electronic music with partner DJ Aero on select dates of deadmau5's Meowingtons Hax tour this fall. deadmau5 (yes, we're spelling that correctly) is one of the hottest and most respected names on the dance scene, so this is a plum gig that will allow Lee to showcase his skills and talents outside of the kit to an even broader cross-section of fans.

If you are not familiar with Tommy Lee's electronic music side, we'll give you a heads up. The sound he creates with DJ Aero is described as "dirty, filth, nasty electro-house," which also plays with the techno, progressive, breakbeat and hip-hop genres. Would you expect anything less from Lee?

Additionally, the duo also manipulates visuals into their DJ set, so it's like performance art come to life. If you want to witness and experience other sides of Tommy Lee's eclectic musical personality, you might want to take in one of these shows.
