Comic Book Album Cover Mashups
Some of rock's most famous record jackets have been invaded by iconic superheroes in a fantastic series of comic book album cover mashups by Gernan artist Uwe de Witt.
Ultimate Classic Rock and Comics Alliance have teamed up to feature de Witt's awesome album cover parodies, which find Wolverine, the Joker, the Human Torch and other super-powered legends visiting classic album covers from Pink Floyd, Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie and more.
We've posted some of our favorites below, along with the original album covers for comparison, and you can check out a whole bunch more -- including an awesome 'Sin City' / Metallica cover that we regret not claiming for ourselves -- over at Comics Alliance.
