Here's a new twist on a battle of the bands: AC/DC are now set to get their own collector's edition of Monopoly, after a Metallica version of the popular board game was just released.

USAopoly, the makers of special-edition versions of Monopoly, reports that the game will go into production in the next week and be available in August.

Players will be able to buy and sell AC/DC albums and increase the value of their properties with gold and platinum records. One of the locations in the game is called AC/DC Lane.

The six game pieces (tokens) for the AC/DC edition of Monopoly are based on some of the legendary hard-rock band's most popular songs. They include Cannon ('For Those About To Rock'); Bundle of Dynamite ('T.N.T.'); Bell on Fire ('Hells Bells'); Lightning Bolt ('Thunder Struck'); Angus’ School Boy Hat ('School Days'); and Stacks of Cash ('Money Talks').

The Metallica version of Monopoly just came out yesterday. Read all about the details of that game here.
