By now, Metallica die-hards know a customized version of Monopoly featuring James Hetfield and company is on the way. Now, more information has surfaced regarding the ‘Enter Sandman’- inspired board game, which will be released tomorrow (June 17).

This special edition of the beloved real-estate board game is customized to commemorate the history and music of the Bay Area heavy metal behemoths.

The game description promises “every aspect of the game designed [with] the true Metallica fan in mind. You'll 'Pass Go' through historic Metallica events and locations around the board, such as club shows, festivals, studios, childhood homes and other metal landmarks.”

The game pieces are based on album art images from across Metallica's career, including the 'Kill 'Em All' hammer, '...And Justice For All' scales, the 'St. Anger' fist, a 'Black Album' snake, a ninja star and more.

In admittedly much bigger Metallica news: late last night, the band revealed they are 90% finished with an album featuring 10 new songs written by, and performed with, former Velvet Underground leader Lou Reed.
