Rod Stewart Takes Cocaine Anally – Shocking Rock Stories of 2012
Musicians live some wild lives and it's not all that shocking that they may include some of the more outrageous anecdotes when trying to sell books. But Rod Stewart made one major headline-making claim in his 'Rod: The Autobiography' that detailed an imaginative way to get his "high" by taking cocaine anally.
“We started buying anticold capsules from the chemist’s,” he wrote. “Separating the two halves of the capsules, replacing their contents with a pinch of cocaine, and then taking the capsules anally, where, of course, the human body being a wonderful thing, they would dissolve effortlessly into the system.” Stewart feared that snorting cocaine through his nose might damage his singing voice, so he found an alternative option.
