The warm critical reception to the first new studio album from Yes in 10 years has now been matched from a sales perspective as well, with ‘Fly From Here’ notching a Top 40 debut on the Billboard 200 album charts.

‘Fly From Here,’ the band’s first studio recording with new vocalist Benoit David, sold nearly 11,000 copies during its first week of release, coming in at No. 35 on the Billboard 200, debuting also in the Top 10 at No. 9 on the Billboard rock album charts. ‘Fly From Here’ has received high critical praise from a multitude of media outlets and the band’s fanbase (and we had some nice things to say about it as well).

The band is busy with lots of activity, including a newly revamped official website and a concept video of sorts for ‘We Can Fly,’ which was recently released, directed by album producer Trevor Horn’s brother Ken Horn.

Yes will wrap up their current summer tour with Styx on Aug. 3 in Mountain View, California.
