Motley Crue launched their North American tour with Poison and the New York Dolls on Tuesday night (June 7) in Dallas, and the highlight of the night just may have been Tommy Lee's ridiculous roller-coaster drum solo.

Lee's theatrics came in the middle of the Crue's 90-minute set. The stickman and his kit revolved around a 360-degree vertical roller-coaster, all the while pounding away at his drums. At a couple of points, Lee was completely upside down.

But the real surprise came when he picked someone from the audience to ride around the circle with him. The fan, named Terry, strapped into the contraption behind Lee and went for the ride of his life. This time, the drummer, the fan and the kit went full circle in both directions!

The rest of Motley Crue's pyro-filled set, which for this tour was voted on by their fans, included hits like 'Home Sweet Home,' 'Dr. Feelgood' and 'Girls, Girls Girls,' while closing out with 'Kickstart My Heart.'

Motley Crue's tour with Poison and the New York Dolls continues through an Aug. 17 show in Chula Vista, Calif. We recently posted a full itinerary of the remaining dates, alongside news that Crue guitarist Mick Mars is reportedly planning an R&B-inspired solo album.
