One of Jethro Tull's classic records, 'Thick as a Brick,' celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, and Ultimate Classic Rock is giving you the opportunity to win the new vinyl box set version of the album.

The two-LP set features the original 'Thick as a Brick' album remixed and the new Ian Anderson sequel 'Thick as a Brick 2,' both as 180-gram audiophile pressings. The package also comes with a 72-page 12 X 12 book. All these great items are packaged together in a hard card slipcase.

'Thick as a Brick' was the band's fifth studio record and is unique in that it featured only one song -- the 44-minute-long title track. This was the band's response to the idea of their 'Aqualung' disc being called "a concept album," with leader Ian Anderson vowing to deliver the mother of all concept albums.

As with a lot of Jethro Tull's music, the epic piece features a number of time signature changes and tempo shifts throughout. The lyrical content supposedly centered around a poem penned by an 8-year-old boy named Gerald Bostock, though in reality Anderson was responsible.

The collection is available online here, but be sure to read below for your chance to win a free copy of this magnificent box set.
