What started as a few select Guns N' Roses shows to close 2011 is turning into an extensive tour of the eastern half of the country. Yesterday the band announced four more shows, beginning with a Halloween night show in Greenville, S.C. Tickets go on sale for the new dates later this week.

The other new dates include a Nov. 5 stop in Dallas, Texas and a Nov. 19 show in Hartford, Ct. Ticketmaster.com lists the presale for the Greenville and Hartford shows as beginning this Thursday (Sept. 22), while there is a firm on-sale date of Sept. 24 for the Dallas show. Multiple sources are also reporting a Nov. 2 show in Atlanta, Ga. will go on sale this week as well, but Ticketmaster does not list this show.

If you're keeping track, that's nine Guns N' Roses shows between Oct. 28 and Nov. 19. Tickets for the tour seem to be relatively reasonable, costing around $40 for the cheap seats and $75 for a closer view of Axl Rose and his cast of bandmates. We're betting that the band will announce more dates in the next few weeks, as there is still plenty of space before mid-December's traditional end of the concert year.

The tour promises to be heavy with 'Use Your Illusion' tracks as the double album is celebrating it's 20th anniversary this year. In a recent Ultimate Classic Rock reader's poll, the red and blue albums were trimmed down to one disc of the best songs from both.
