Gov't Mule offer fans a sneak peek from their upcoming Dub Side of the Mule project with this exclusive premiere of "Pressure Drop," featuring the legendary Toots Hibbert of Toots & the Maytals.

Dub Side of the Mule, out April 7, was recorded during the band's New Year's Eve 2006 performance at the Beacon Theatre in New York City, and finds the band performing for more than three hours while delivering a lengthy set of originals and covers, joined by guests Gregg Allman and John Popper. The evening also included an hour-long reggae set featuring Hibbert, which you can catch a glimpse of in the above video.

Dub Side is being available in multiple configurations, including vinyl, digital and standard CD, all of which feature fresh remixes and mastering. This performance of "Pressure Drop" is pulled from the Deluxe Edition, which collects three CDs and a DVD of the entire reggae set. To pre-order Dub Side of the Mule — or your official album-inspired T-shirt, change tray and rolling papers — visit Gov't Mule's official online store.

Dub Side of the Mule is just one in a series of recent live archival LPs from the band, including the Rolling Stones covers set Stoned Side of the Mule and the Pink Floyd tribute Dark Side of the Mule, as well as the long-anticipated official release of Sco-Mule, the group's live collaboration with guitarist John Scofield.
