Bob Seger is hitting the road for a North American tour that will include nearly two dozen stops in support of his first album since 2006. Dates continue into 2015, with the J. Geils Band opening on select dates.

The tour begins on Nov. 19 in Saginaw, Mich., continuing through Boston, Chicago, Toronto, Atlanta and Dallas, until Seger wraps things up on Feb. 27 in Los Angeles. Tickets go on sale Oct. 4. Complete tour dates are below.

'Ride Out,' set for release on Oct. 14, was preceded by Seger's cover of John Hiatt's 'Detroit Made.' The album also includes Seger's take on 'California Stars' by Wilco and Billy Bragg. Seger debuted several originals from 'Ride Out' in concert over the past months, including 'All of the Roads,' 'You Take Me In' and 'Gates of Eden.'

Seger's most recent studio effort, 'Face the Promise,' marked the end of lengthy break following 1995's 'It's a Mystery.' The new tour will be Seger's most extensive since that 2006 comeback.
