Fear not, ye lovers of the black wax – Bruce Springsteen's new album 'Wrecking Ball' will indeed be released on vinyl, with the day and date coinciding with the March 6 release date for all other formats.

Pressed as a two LP set, the Springsteen fan site Backstreets reports that the vinyl edition of 'Wrecking Ball' will feature the primary 11 tracks set to appear on the regular edition of the album. A CD copy will also be included with the vinyl pressing for the convenient purpose of on-the-go listening.

The previously confirmed deluxe CD edition of 'Wrecking Ball' adds two additional tracks for a total of 13, and will feature oversized packaging similar to the deluxe edition for Springsteen's 2009 album 'Working On A Dream.'

Reportedly, Springsteen called 'Wrecking Ball' the "best thing he's done in years," and sources that have heard the album elaborate to add that it's also quite possibly the "angriest" album to come from Camp Bruce.

Springsteen recently confirmed the first leg of U.S. tour dates with the E Street Band for 'Wrecking Ball,' which will run March 18. throughout the month of April prior to additional European concerts and festival performances.
