Bruce Springsteen is beginning to fill in some of the blanks on his 2012 touring schedule. The singer and the E Street band are confirmed to headline the Isle of Wight Festival and London's Hard Rock Calling festival next summer.

According to the singer's official website, Springsteen will be the featured act on the last night of the Isle of Wight Festival on June 24, 2012. Three weeks later, on July 14, he'll appear in London's Hyde Park for Hard Rock Calling. Other confirmed dates for next summer include a June 21 show at Sunderland's Stadium of Light and a June 22 show at Manchester's Etihad Stadium.

Springsteen had previously announced that the European tour will kick off in May and run through July. He hinted that American dates would follow, but offered no details. The band are finishing up a new album and are close to deciding upon a release date.

Tickets for the Isle of Wight Festival go on sale this Friday, while tickets for the London and Sunderland shows go on sale Dec. 3.
