One Motley Crue Tour Bus Bangs Into Another — Update

Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx tweeted at 4:40PM ET on Saturday (June 11) that his bus and drummer Tommy Lee's bus crashed into each other. Now, it appears as if Lee's bus was parked at the time.

"My bus ran into Tommy's bus, or the other way around.:) Whatever happened, it sure looks cool. Love it when stuff gets smashed up...Scars...:)" wrote Sixx on his Twitter page.

"Like its not dangerous enough on stage today," tweeted Lee a few hours later. "Nikki's bus smashed into my parked bus!! Really guys?"

"I thought it was Demolition Derby day -- Ha Ha," replied Sixx.

It would seem from the jocular tweets from Sixx and Lee that there are no injuries to report, and there's no reason to think their Sunday show in Albuquerque, N.M., will be affected.

Motley Crue launched their North American tour with Poison and the New York Dolls on June 7 in Dallas. The trek is scheduled through an Aug. 17 show in Chula Vista, Calif.
