The Queen of Rock 'N' Roll and frontwoman of The Runaways -- Joan Jett -- will celebrate her 54th birthday on Saturday, Sept. 22.

Jett started the band at the early age of 15. Just one year later the group released their first album, which featured the underground punk hit, 'Cherry Bomb.'

Since then, she's been a massive presence in the punk rock 'n' roll scene with and without the Runaways, appearing on the charts with hits such as 'Born to Be Bad' and 'I Love Rock 'n' Roll.'

Rumors of a Runaways reunion have been picking up steam in recent years, but until then the queen continues to conquer rock via her solo career.
