It's not even Christmas and we're starting to hear about albums that are coming out in time for Valentine's Day. Today (Dec. 3) comes the news that Billy Joel will release 'She's Got A Way: Love Songs' on Jan. 22, 2013.

The 18-song set brings together many of his best-known ballads from throughout his career, such as the Grammy-winning 'Just the Way You Are,' 'Honesty' and 'Shameless,' which was a No. 1 country hit for Garth Brooks in 1991. But the CD also contains some of his deeper cuts, like 'Temptation,' 'This Night,' and 'Until the Night,' the sweeping homage to the Righteous Brothers from 1978's '52nd Street.'

Of particular interest is the inclusion of 'Nocturne,' the instrumental from his rarely heard first album, 1971's 'Cold Spring Harbor.' The title track of this compilation, 'She's Got a Way," was originally released on 'Cold Spring Harbor,' but the version included here is the hit take from 'Songs in the Attic,' his 1981 collection of live cuts from songs that were originally released on his first three albums.

Billy Joel will be performing at the Hurricane Sandy benefit at Madison Square Garden on Dec. 12, along with other rock luminaries as Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney and the Who.
