Although there is 17 years difference between the two, Alice Cooper and Slash have plenty in common, including a love of heavy rock, living on the edge and top hats. So it makes sense that the two would jam together, as they did on on Thursday (Jan. 31).

The event was Slash's concert at the Dubai Tennis Center in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As they did at the Golden Gods Awards this past April, they rocked out on Cooper's smash hit 'School's Out,' which was No. 45 on our countdown of the Top 100 Classic Rock Songs. The video, courtesy of Blabbermouth, is below.

Slash is, of course, no stranger to having his famous friends sit in with him. Back in August, Lemmy from Motorhead was invited onstage in Boston for a rendition of 'Doctor Alibi.' And he'll also return the favor, as he did in June when he joined Ozzy Osbourne and Geezer Butler during an Ozzy Osbourne & Friends show for Black Sabbath's 'N.I.B.'

Of course, the question remains as to why Cooper would fly all the way across the world just to sing one song. As it turns out, Cooper, whose love of golf is well-known, was already in Dubai for last week's Omega Dubai Desert Classic Challenge Match, where he competed alongside such top pros as Mark O'Meara and Lee Westwood.
