Eager to hear the new Van Halen record? Well, get in line behind bassist Wolfgang Van Halen's mother, and guitarist Eddie Van Halen's ex-wife, Valerie Bertinelli, who recently tweeted that even she hadn't heard the band's new album, their first with original lead singer David Lee Roth in over two decades, yet.

"Who do I have to give birth to to get a copy of the new Van Halen record?," the actress comically tweeted in response to a fan's question about how the new music was coming along. Eddie and Valerie divorced in 2005, but as these recent family photos from the always awesome VHND.com indicate, they seem to get along really well. So maybe she'll get to hear the record, which will also be her son's recorded debut with the band, shortly.

Bertinelli, who goes by the handle @Wolfiesmom on twitter, also revealed that yes, the one and only Van Halen video she ever appeared in was 1984's 'Panama,' in response to another fan question.

In other Van Halen news, according to Triple M Radio, it now seems that the promoter's inability to reach a deal with Aerosmith, as well as low ticket sales, are the reasons behind the cancellation of Australia’s September Soundwave Revolution festival, originally set to feature the band in five different cities.

Radio personality Nui Te Koha goes on to say that word from the Van Halen camp is that “there are no plans to tour Australia,” officially putting a nail in the hopes that any form of "Down Under" tour dates might go forward.
