Vince Neil

With the exception of a five-year split that mainly served to prove how inseparable they were in the public's eye, Vince Neil has stood atop the hard rock world as lead singer (and main troublemaker) of Motley Crue for over three decades. His distinctive, high-pitched vocals proved the perfect compliment to Nikki Sixx's songwriting on modern classics such as 'Shout at the Devil,' 'Girls, Girls, Girls' and 'Wild Side.' He's also released three solo albums and an autobiography, and has proven himself to be quite an enterprising businessman -- owning restaurants, strip clubs and now even a professional football team.

But there are always exceptions, aren't there?

Just ask the fan who nearly got clocked at his solo show last Saturday (Dec. 1).
