Did Robert Plant Get Married to Patty Griffin?

Rumors are emerging out of Austin, Texas that Robert Plant has married his Band of Joy bandmate Patty Griffin. There has been no official confirmation of this potential union as of yet, but a source in town says the pair have been sporting wedding rings for at least the past several days, with the Led Zeppelin legend introducing Griffin to people as his wife.

It's been speculated for months that Plant and Griffin have been dating, with Austin360 describing a passionate make-out session between the two at a local airport back in May. About a week ago, reporter Michael Corcoran first broached the subject of marriage on his twitter account: "Did Robert Plant and Patty Griffin get married? Friends say they're madly in love, but that seems kinda quick. And it's just a rumor."

An anonymous tipster soon wrote and provided us directly with the account from the first paragraph of this article, expressing surprise that the story hasn't leaked nationally yet. Then, earlier today Ramble On Radio also issued a report suggesting the two singers have gotten married.

Now, all of this was quickly balanced out by Plant and Griffin's publicist, who promptly replied to our request for confirmation by stating "not to my knowledge" has any wedding or marriage happened between the two.
