Queen, Beatles + John Lennon Lead U.K. Survey to Determine ‘Favorite No. 1 Single’
Rock history has provided us with many great songs, but which is the best? That's what the folks at the U.K. Official Charts Company are determined to find out.
They've launched a new poll in which fans are asked to vote for their 'Favorite U.K. No. 1 Single.' To help matters out, they've narrowed down the choices to a short list of ten chart-toppers.
On the classic rock side, you can choose between Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody,' the Beatles' 'Hey Jude,' and John Lennon's 'Imagine.'
The rest of the short list features more modern singles. From the '70s, you could pick ABBA's 'Dancing Queen.' Out of the '80s, there's Michael Jackson's 'Billie Jean.' The '90s are represented by Oasis' 'Don't Look Back in Anger,' Whitney Houston's 'I Will Always Love You' and Britney Spears' 'Baby One More Time.' The 2000s have Kylie Minogue's 'Can't Get You Out of My Head,' and our most current decade features Adele's 'Someone Like You.'
The voting is currently underway here, with a winner being revealed later this summer.
