Meat Loaf Postpones England Shows for Medical Reasons
It's been a rough start for Meat Loaf's UK tour. The singer postponed another show last night because of "medical reasons afflicting several members of the band." That's the fifth of eight shows he's either cancelled or postponed.
Meat Loaf made the announcement at his Facebook page, adding information about ticket refunds and a makeup date. The band will be back to play Nottingham on May 20, a date that is not yet listed on his official website.
Fourteen dates still remain on the Last at Bat Tour, his final tour ever. Previously the final show was scheduled for May 17 in Dublin, Ire., but now two August dates in Suffolk and Berkshire, Eng. appear on his official touring schedule.
Earlier this month the singer (real name, Marvin Lee Aday) said the Last at Bat Tour would be his last tour because he didn't want to travel anymore. He admitted his health, including a knee replacement surgery in November, is holding him back. He is planning a new album for the future, his 13th.
