In what could be the heaviest battle in our history, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin meet in the semifinals of the Ultimate Classic Rock Hall of Fame election.

Both of these legendary bands breezed through their first round matches. Black Sabbath took 80 percent of the vote against Joe Cocker. And if that wasn't one-sided enough, it was nothing compared to the 86-14 percent drubbing that Led Zeppelin gave to Yes, who probably deserved a better fate than that, but such is the luck of the draw.

Only one of these two legendary groups can be declared the winner and go on to the finals, where they will face either Rod Stewart or Santana. You can vote in that contest here.

Voting for our Hall of Fame will now take place over a two-month stretch instead of one. You can vote for whoever you’d like once a day from now until 11:59PM ET on Oct. 20. You can read the Hall of Fame’s official rules right here. Be sure to mark your calendars for Nov. 4, when the seventh entrant into the Ultimate Classic Rock Hall of Fame is revealed.
