Sadly, Keith Moon, who would have turned 66 on Aug. 23, is no longer with us. However, that doesn't mean we can't remember the amazing imprint he left on the rock 'n' roll culture.

Keith was the original drummer for the "loudest band in the world," the Who. While it is very public knowledge that he passed away in 1978, apparently the organizers of the 2012 London Olympics didn't get the papers.

He was also known as the bandmate who lived a very destructive lifestyle, even by rock and roll standards -- trashing hotels or flushing explosives down toilets. However, to see what he was really put on this earth for, just give 'I Can See for Miles' a listen!
