Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed ‘Officially’ Getting Married

Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed will reportedly get married on Oct. 1, and you can see the wedding invitation above. This report apparently ends a summer full of breathless anticipation for fans of the Kiss bassist's popular reality show, 'Gene Simmons Family Jewels,' which ended with the Demon on bended knee proposing marriage to his longtime girlfriend. 

People magazine reports that the wedding is now official, and scheduled to take place on Saturday, Oct. 1 at a posh hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. If you're going to try and print up the above invitation to attend the big event, well... first off that won't work, but second, make sure you dress in "classy cocktail attire."

Those of us who weren't invited can catch up on everything that went down since the highly-watched cliffhanger finale of the previous season on Oct. 4, when the next season kicks off.  We'll find out what happened between Gene's earnest proposal, which reportedly was in great danger of being rejected due to Tweed's recent unhappiness in the relationship, and today's big announcement.
