Bruce Springsteen has long been an artist who records on his own terms, often left to his own devices. The player credits for his new single 'We Take Care Of Our Own' reveal that indeed, he took care of a lot of the necessary instrumentation on his own with very little help from the E Street Band.

Bruce demonstrates his instrumental dexterity, handling guitars, banjo, piano, organ, drums (!), percussion and loops. 'Wrecking Ball' album producer Ron Aniello contributes additional guitar, bass, keyboards, drums and loops.

Longtime E Street associate Soozie Tyrell adds violin and backing vocals, with Patti Scialfa and Lisa Lowell putting more backing vocals into the mix. which is rounded out with the New York String Section.

As our song review of 'We Take Care Of Our Own' (you can listen to the track there, too) notes, Springsteen still knows what the fans want to hear and “he has plenty to be proud of,” garnering well-deserved praise for his “masterful” production and symphonic instrumentation.

'Wrecking Ball' is Springsteen's 17th studio album and will be in stores on March 6.
