David Bowie to Include New Song on Greatest Hits Compilation
There's still no word on if or when David Bowie might get around to following up 2013's 'The Next Day' LP, but fans hungry for new music can look forward to a snack between meals later this year.
NME reports that Bowie's next best-of compilation, titled 'Nothing Has Changed' and due Nov. 18, will include the new song 'Sue (Or in a Season Of Crime),' which was recorded in 2014 with producer Tony Visconti. The track's due to be released as a single the same day 'Nothing Has Changed' comes out, and will also be issued as a limited edition 10" on Black Friday (Nov. 28) with another new track, 'Tis a Pity She's a Whore,' on the B-side.
Although 'Sue' is the only new song on the compilation, various configurations of 'Nothing Has Changed' will also include rare or previously unreleased material. According to Bowie's website, the track listing makes room for the official debuts of the discarded 'Toy' track 'Let Me Sleep Beside You,' as well as the previously download-only 'Your Turn To Drive' and the 2001 re-recording of the 1971 outtake 'Shadow Man.' Take a look at the complete track listing below.
