Bob Dylan Announces ‘Tempest’ Track Listing
Shortly after announcing that Bob Dylan will release his 35th studio album, 'Tempest,' on September 11, Sony has revealed the track listing for the set -- as well as a few other details.
The new 10-song album, produced by Dylan under his Jack Frost alias, includes a tribute to John Lennon titled 'Roll On John' that includes a number of lines from Beatles songs (Rolling Stone reports that a pair of sample lyrics are "Come together right now" and "I heard the news today, oh boy").
Also included: The title track, which is reportedly a 14-minute epic inspired by the wreck of the Titanic (as well as James Cameron's hugely successful film of the same name).
Rolling Stone calls the cut 'Pay in Blood' a "standout," referencing the line "I'll pay in blood, but not my own."
