The Who's performance at the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival is legendary. In 2004, the band returned to the site to give another rousing performance. That show is now set for release on June 2 on DVD and Blu-Ray as Live at the Isle of Wight 2004.

The Isle of Wight Festivals of 1968, 1969 and 1970 rank among the all-time greatest rock festivals, with acts such as Jefferson Airplane, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Jimi Hendrix, the Doors and Jethro Tull all taking the stage.

In 1970, the Who's stunning performance there became an instant classic. That performance was eventually released on CD/DVD. The festival itself was inactive for many years until it was resurrected in 2002. Two years later, the Who made a triumphant return to its stage

This concert was also the Who's first U.K. show since the death of bassist John Entwistle in 2002. Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend were joined onstage by guitarist Simon Townshend, bassist Pino Palladino, drummer Zak Starkey and keyboardist John “Rabbit” Bundrick.

Their 21-song set is collected on the upcoming DVDs and Blu-rays, which also include a two-CD version of the concert. You can see the track listing below.
