Jack White's cover of U2's 'Love is Blindness' is now available on YouTube. The clip will be featured on the 20th anniversary tribute to the band's 'Achtung Baby' when it's released in the Oct. 26 issue of Q Magazine.

The 'AHK-toong BAY-bi Covered' album was commissioned by Q, and as previously reported will also feature covers by Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails and the Killers. Bono is supportive of the project. “It’s strange, because when I hear the album, when U2 do it, all I hear is what’s wrong with it,” he says. “But when I heard all these artists doing it, I thought, ‘It’s really good.”

The former White Stripes frontman's version is both heavier and more stripped down than the original. It's fair to say he rocks harder than Bono does, but whether or not that's a good thing is up to one's personal taste. It's interesting to note that the Edge was having marital problems during the recording of this song about a failing romance, and White just divorced wife Karen Elson in June.
