It's been a tumultuous year for many of rock's biggest acts.

Frontman Fred Schneider blamed the "total disaster" largely on careless promoters.

The new wave pioneers have extended their plans for the year with eight additional concerts.

Their latest gigs prove it's still not time to say goodbye.

"Other bands have gotten in who aren't even rock 'n' roll," he laments. "I could care less about being in there with John Cougar Mellencamp."

The B-52's technically retired from touring three years ago, but they "couldn't say no" to this.

The Hall has been remarkably inconsistent when it comes to the genre.

Jack White, Devo and the B-52's are also on the lineup.
