Nikki Sixx may have said goodbye to Mötley Crüe, but he hasn't let go of the music.

Sixx:A.M. are hitting fans with a pair of new albums — and they're kicking things off in a big way this spring with the release of the first installment

Nikki Sixx has given an update on the progress of the two albums Sixx:A.M. are recording.

Nikki Sixx has big plans for Sixx:AM as soon as Motley Crue call it a day.

The spoken journal entry-esque “X-Mas in Hell” greeted fans as Sixx: A.M. began an April 11 appearance at Los Angeles' Club Nokia with the lights down and the stage empty.

"We can't wait to play these songs live and put on a rock extravaganza for our fans."

When Sixx:A.M. hit the road for their upcoming world tour, we're sure all the really important stuff will go smoothly -- but if it doesn't, at least guitarist DJ Ashba and singer James Michael will have some experience with what to do when things go catastrophically wrong onstage.

With just a few days to go before Sixx:A.M.'s new 'Modern Vintage' LP arrives in stores, the band has opened up the YouTube floodgates, making the complete album available to stream.

Sixx:A.M. will end a five-year live performance drought on Oct. 7 -- the same day they release their new 'Modern Vintage' album.

Singer James Michael says the band is preparing to tour once Nikki Sixx is done with Motley Crue's last tour.
