It's been a couple of weeks since Sixx:A.M. posted a sneak peek at their upcoming 'Modern Vintage' album, but don't worry, fans -- they aren't finished offering up samples of the new record.

The latest 'Modern Vintage' song to make its debut is 'Let's Go,' an uptempo number that offers a 180-degree turn from the last track to be posted, the band's cover of the Cars hit 'Drive.' As Nikki Sixx and DJ Ashba explain in a video describing the creation of the song, that's exactly what they were looking for.

"It's kind of a call to arms," offered Sixx. "A Sixx:A.M. type of a battle cry. That you can get out of your way -- no matter how bad things are you can do it, you know? You can pull it off."

"'Let's Go' is different for Sixx:A.M. because we've never written a shuffle beat type of song," added Ashba. "It's super high energy, the guitars with the harmonics and everything. It's just one of those songs that I can't wait to play live -- I believe the crowd is gonna lose their s---."

Agreeing with Ashba, Sixx added, "There's some songs from the early and mid '70s that have these shuffles to them. Big anthems. That's what we were looking for on 'Let's Go.'"

You can listen to 'Let's Go' in the above video, then check out the 'Modern Vintage' tracks 'Drive,' 'Stars' and 'Gotta Get It Right.'
