King's X bassist and singer Dug Pinnick was rushed to the hospital following the band's concert last night (11/23) in Charlotte, N.C, and will reportedly require further surgery to recover from a hernia he had operated on back in July.
Jerry Gaskill, drummer for Kings X, has lost all his worldly possessions after the surge from Hurricane Sandy crashed into his coastal home in New Jersey. The 54-year-old and his wife Julie are safe, but have been displaced.

King's X drummer Jerry Gaskill is continuing his recovery from the heart atttack he suffered on Feb. 26. Gaskill remains in an undisclosed hospital for extended care. "Jerry is progressing very well," read a message posted to both his Facebook and Twitter accounts on March 11. "He's weaning from the ventilator and going to start physical therapy soon!"
