Hot Tuna always seem to be most at home on the concert trail. So it's no surprise that they're kicking off the new year with a string of new dates. The veteran band just announced a 30-show U.S. tour that launches on Jan. 2 in Northampton, Mass.
Blues-rockers Hot Tuna have announced 11 new dates for their Holidays Tour, set to begin on Nov. 9 in Pomeroy, Ohio. The run will be mostly acoustic shows and include stops along the East Coast and through the Northeast before returning to Michigan, Ohio and Chicago.
Joey Covington, who helped to create Hot Tuna and played drums in Jefferson Airplane for a few years, has died at the age of 67. He passed away on June 4 following a car crash in Palm Springs.
