Pantera and Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde tells UCR the story behind his latest music.

He says partying was more important than playing when the two friends got together.

He’s preparing for Pantera tribute shows with help from “other amazing players” online.

Guitarist hopes to enjoy tribute experience using some of his late friend's gear.

"The whole thing was bizarro land," he later said of this first gig.

"Obviously, it’s not Pantera," says guitarist who’ll play alongside Phil Anselmo, Rex Brown and Charlie Benante.

They'll replace classic era band members Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul.

Guitarist talked to UCR about Black Sabbath's influence on grunge and the impact of Guns N' Roses' debut album.
