For some one who so often prefers to let the music do the talking, Slash has been quite chatty lately. Last month, he began a six-part series on BBC Radio discussing his musical roots, and he will appear on the season premiere of "Guitar Center Sessions" on DirecTV's The Audience Network. The epsiode will be broadcast on May 18 at 9PM Eastern.

Slash, along with collaborators Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, performed a rare acoustic set, including versions of Velvet Revolver's "Fall To Pieces" and "Beggars & Hangers-On," which was recorded by Slash's Snakepit. The show also features an interview session with Slash and Kennedy by host Nic Harcourt.

Now that all the controversy surrounding Guns N' Roses' induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is in the distance, Slash can get back to the business of promoting his new album, 'Apocalyptic Love,’ which will be released May 22 on his own Dik Hayd label. He is currently on tour through the end of June, and will be performing tomorrow (May 7) at Hard Rock Live in Orlando, Fla. Complete information can be found at his website.
