Sammy Hagar’s Atlantic City Bar Trashed By Hurricane Sandy
It has become a rite of passage for rock fans visiting Atlantic City to get trashed at Sammy Hagar's Beach Bar & Grill. However, Mother Nature has enacted its own form of revenge, as Hurricane Sandy has wreaked considerable damage to the beachfront party spot.
Today (Oct. 30), Hagar posted the above picture to his Facebook page along with the following message. "Hope all Redheads and BB&G staff are safe and dry! Here is a look at the damage - we will rebuild!"
The Beach Bar & Grill is only open from May through Labor Day Weekend, so at least Hagar is not losing business, nor is the staff temporarily unemployed, as a result of the damage. Hagar opened the club at Bally's Atlantic City Hotel and casino in May 2010.
The restaurant has also helped the Atlantic City community. Profits from the Beach Bar & Grill go to the Hagar Family Foundation, which supports local children's charities. We are sure he will be able to rebuild in time for the 2013 beach season.
