Peter Frampton Divorcing Third Wife

Peter Frampton has filed for divorced from his third wife, Tina Elfers. The couple reportedly has been separated since New Year's Eve.

The 61-year-old rocker is granting physical custody of the pair's 15-year-old actress daughter, Mia, to Elfers, but is seeking visitation rights. The divorce petition was filed Tuesday (June 21) in Los Angeles Superior Court, according to People magazine.

Frampton and Elfers tied the knot in 1996. It was the third marriage for Frampton, who was previously wed to Mary Lovett from 1971 to 1973 and Barbara Gold from 1983 to 1993.
