Paul McCartney is reportedly set to marry fiancée Nancy Shevell tomorrow, Oct. 9, at London's Marylebone Register Office, which is the same location he wed first wife Linda back in 1969. The date is of particular significance to fans of The Beatles, and not simply because it's Sir Paul's third trip down the aisle. Oct. 9 is also the date of birth of the late John Lennon, who would have been 71 tomorrow, had he lived.

The Sun reports that the McCartney-Shevell wedding will be a small, understated affair, with about 30 guests in attendance to share their joy.

The singer posted a notice with Westminster Council on Sept. 14. That means he has been able to legally wed Shevell from Sept. 30 onwards. They have up to a year to have the ceremony.

One ceremony isn't enough for the couple, either. They plan to have a second set of nuptials in the Hamptons on Long Island, which holds special meaning as it's where they met and fell in love.

Congrats to Paul and Nancy on finally tying the knot…if they indeed do so tomorrow.
