Fans of George Thorogood and the Marshall Tucker Band will have plenty of opportunities to see either act in concert this year.

This year's dates find the Marshall Tucker Band continuing to celebrate their 45th anniversary as a live group, appropriately, the newly announced shows — more than 30 in all, with "many others" promised throughout 2017 — are called the 45th Live in Concert tour.

"We are delighted to hit the road in 2017 to celebrate 45 years," said singer Doug Gray. "This year's tour schedule is going to take us to towns we haven't played in awhile. It will be great to see so many of our fans and old friends."

Thorogood, meanwhile, is poised to begin his Rock Party tour for a good cause: a dollar from each ticket pledged to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. For Thorogood, this year's dates offer an opportunity to continue doing what he does best.

"The ‘Rock Party Tour’ promises to raise the bar, rock the house and tear off the roof like never before," said Thorogood. "We play for a different audience every night, and that keeps it fresh. There are people who’ve never seen us before, and we have to impress them. There are fans that keep coming back, and we want to surprise them. This is my job. I’ve always loved it, and I love it now more than ever."
